The Black Male EDquity Network (BMEN) is a collective of Black male doctors and doctoral students, ignited by a vision to address the underrepresentation of Black men in doctoral programs across the nation. Our journey began in the summer of 2020, catalyzed by the tragic events surrounding George Floyd. Five dedicated individuals came together, solidifying our mission to provide unwavering support, foster engagement, create meaningful interactions, and establish a powerful presence within our communities.

Since our inception, BMEN has steadfastly delivered an array of services, touching the lives of graduate students, K-12 students, and marginalized communities alike. Operating under our LLC, we have conducted research and offered consulting services to non-profit organizations and public schools. Our distinctive merchandise line has redefined fashion, making a statement that resonates with our stakeholders and students. We've hosted impactful workshops on a diverse range of essential topics and have ventured into curriculum development, an innovative service that sets us apart.

In the realm of our non-profit endeavors, BMEN has designed a curriculum tailored to serve the Black community, with a specific focus on boys of color and the family dynamic. Our vision is rooted in holistic support for families, providing scholarships, addressing basic needs, fostering professional development, and so much more. At BMEN, our commitment extends far beyond the traditional; we aim to be a beacon of inspiration and transformation, empowering our community and creating a brighter future for all.
